Types - There are many prepositions introducing
several different ideas, but the most common concepts described by prepositions
are those of time, place, and movement.
Some examples of Spanish prepositions:
Río de Janeiro
está en Brasil. [Rio de Janeiro
is in Brazil.]
El tren llega a
las once y media. [The train arrives at 11:30.]
Es un pastel de
chocolate. [It's a chocolate cake.]
Quisiera un café
sin azúcar, por
favor. [I'd like a coffee without sugar, please.]
Pilar va desde
Santiago hasta Valparaíso en
coche. [Pilar goes from Santiago to Valparaiso by car.]
